Ever since I paid about $45 for 6 raw oysters at a restaurant in Rome! I’ve also been thinking about oyster growers on the West Coast of BC because they have been hit hard by wicked winter storms. You can hear my report from the Clayoquot Oyster Festival in Tofino that took place in December 2003, but for current information on the state of the industry make sure you visit the website of the BC Shellfish Growers Association.
